I got into a habit of photo- and video-documenting different stages of creating a new linocut and usually edit a short video, showing the printmaking process. I've been posting them on Instagram and Facebook but never got around to uploading them on my website - now that I've got a little break between art events it's time to do it!
Here is the first one - a video showing the making of my largest linocut "Awakening". It's a multiple plate linocut, carved on 3 blocks of lino and handprinted with a glass barren with my favourite Caligo Safe Wash ink on Japanese paper Hosho. Music by 'Sun Juice' (my talented husband Doug Tiplady on sax :)
