An original 4-colour linocut, made using a reduction method. Reduction is a printmaking technique (which was popularised and used by Picasso) when all the colours are printed from the same block of lino which is carved multiple times and inked/printed after each carving. With reductive technique the block of lino gets destroyed in the process so the edition can never be reprinted.
Geometry I is a small edition of 15 prints. Because the image is inked and printed by hand there may be slight variations in tone and colour. Printed with highly pigmented ink in 4 colours- orange, teal, dark chocolate/charcoal and gold.
Paper size appr 26x36 cm, image size is 29x17cm.
Printed on extra smooth white Zerkall paper.
Numbered and signed by the artist (me🙂)
Will be shipped flat, carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue and cellophane and packaged in a protective envelop to ensure safe delivery.
