"Shapes and petals II" - an original hand-carved and handprinted linocut of a flower in a midcentury-inspired vase, with the colour added using a chine collé technique.
I cut shapes out of colourful lightweight Japanese papers and adhered them to the main heavyweight paper, with my block of lino printed on top. These gorgeous delicate papers created colourful accents and added a new dimension to the print as all of them have interesting textures.
Each of these prints has a unique combination of colours/textures so they are listed separately - please see photos. You'll be able to choose a print number at the checkout to purchase a particular one-off print from this edition.
