‘Two turtle doves ’ - second from a little series of illustrations for a well-known Christmas song.
An original linocut, designed by myself, carved on linoleum and handprinted with highly pigmented oil-based ink on a variety of premium printmaking papers.
Limited varied edition. The following colour options are available:
1. Blue ink on white archival printmaking paper
2. Gold ink on archival white paper3. Burnt orange/light terracota ink on heavyweight cotton rag paper
4. Warm pistachio green on heavyweight cotton rag paper
5. Blue ink on heavyweight white paper, embellished with gold pigment
Each print is signed and numbered in pencil by myself. Image size appr. 20x20cm. Torn handfinished edges so can be float-mounted.
Will be shipped flat wrapped in acid-free tissue, sandwiched between sturdy cardboards to ensure a safe delivery.
